Today's music video is from Walk The Moon, a delightful band straight outta the 513. I think they're swell. And it's always nice to see a talented band from Cincinnati make it past Cincinnati. Plus, I'm a sucker for a good hipster dance scene.

Guster is so fun. Today is an upbeat song kind of day, and I love the lyrics in this. So sweet!!

Music Monday: Landon Pigg

Todays music is "Falling in Love at a Coffee Shop" by Landon Pigg. This song is several years old, but I just saw the video for it a couple months ago. Is it not the sweetest video you've ever seen?!?! Swoon. I could watch it over and over. I love the concept, the tone, everything. I also want to paint my nails all different colors after seeing it on the girl in the video! Prepare to have your heart melted : )

Music Monday: Mike Mains and the Branches

OMG. This band is so good. Hubby's band, The Waking Point, got to open for them on Saturday in Louisville. I didn't get to go but I've watched the video about a hundred times. I am LOVING this song. The lyrics are incredible. I'm looking forward to hearing more from Mike Mains and the Branches because they are FANTASTIC. Wouldn't you agree??

This is a fun song and a fun video. I'm a new fan of Vampire Weekend. I like them. They make me dance. Now I must go get ready to celebrate one more bday lunch with the beard and his dad.

Music Monday: Matt Costa

I have loved Matt Costa's music since I first heard it about 4 years ago. Matt and I got to see him a couple years ago at Miami and he was SO good. This song is one that I have to do a little dance to every single time it comes on my ipod and then I usually hit repeat at least once or twice. Enjoy!

Music Monday: Lady Edition (a day late.)

Woops! Looks like I got distracted for a week again. Big surprise. Good thing I'm not feeling well today and alternating laying in bed and on the couch is very conducive to blogging for me.

If you haven't heard of The Civil Wars yet, you need to look them up and get ready to obsess over them. I discovered them because I like to stalk follow Joy Williams, and when she started talking about her new project, I naturally went right for it. They have exploded over the past year and I am so excited for them! There's so much talent in these people. I can't wait to see where they go!!

Music Monday: Lady Edition

Sorry I haven't been blogging on my thirty days of thankfulness. I've been journaling about it and keeping it up, I just needed a small blog break. And lets be honest, it's a miracle I blogged a week in a row! We are going to be starting a new weekly feature called Music Monday (hence the title) Matt and I will each post one video that we're loving each Monday. My video is from Brooke Frazer. I've been hearing about her for ages, and finally about 2 months ago finally looked her up, and I totally dig her. Her music is spunky and fun and girly. My kind of thing!!
